Milard Yoder










Millard J. Yoder, P.E., LEED AP

A Principal at WilsonMiller Stantec, Millard J. Yoder has more than 30 years of professional civil engineering experience. He has overseen the design and construction phases of a variety of projects in Sarasota, Manatee, and Collier Counties involving stormwater facilities, roadways, residential and commercial developments, mixed use developments and schools. Yoder’s experience in land development encompasses no fewer than 20 major projects in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. He was project manager for VillageWalk of Sarasota, a 540-acre, 1,000-unit residential development located within Palmer Ranch, as well as the Tower Residences at the Ritz Carlton, Tidewater Preserve, and other residential developments.


Yoder's LEED Accreditation through the U.S. Green Building Council recognizes his ability to incorporate design, construction, and maintenance techniques that increase energy efficiency and reduce impacts on health and the environment. Mr. Yoder promotes collaboration among the various design professionals involved in land development in order to optimize sustainability.  

A 1978 graduate of the University of Akron, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Yoder worked with Hammontree & Associates, Inc., in North Canton, Ohio, prior to joining WilsonMiller in 1980. He has been a professional engineer in Florida since 1983. Yoder is active in numerous professional, business, and community organizations, having served as president of the Suncoast Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is also a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the Florida Engineering Society. He is a graduate of the 1992 class of Leadership Sarasota and the 2008 class of the Florida Engineering Leadership Institute.
